Nicholas Webb is a litigation executive and has been in practice since 1986.

Nick's practice has typically included all general civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration.

The practice has historically included advocacy in most courts and arbitrations.

 

During the late 1980s Nicholas was employed as 'in house' legal adviser by a leading international construction company based in the West End of London. During this time Nick advised on particularly complex construction law on both contentious and non contentious issues. Since then Nick has had a strong practice in the Technology & Construction Court.

 

Historically Nick's practice has included all areas of general civil litigation and throughout the 1990s to date Nick has been a consultant to small and medium size practices in Sussex and the City of London. Clients include many types of businesses and commercial organisations including substantial international companies.

 

In the 1990s Nicholas wrote a number of legal programmes that were distributed in video and television format. Following the success of these programmes Nick was commissioned by a national UK newspaper to write a legal column and legal information services. Since the earlier media work Nicholas Webb has developed a strong media practice and represents a number of media organisations and celebrities and presently acts as a legal adviser to a BBC 1 prime time television series.

 

In the 1990s Nicholas developed a legal argument resulting in a Court of Appeal Authority relating to privilege against self incrimination (disclosure and assets).

Nick's practice includes a great deal of commercial negotiation and dispute resolution for blue chip and high profile corporate and private clients in most areas of work and includes non contentious commercial and legal strategy implementation.
